$BTC perpetual 100x short position, opened at 84147, now at 82449, floating profit +201.70%.
After a failed breakout above 84000, it directly plunged in a deep waterfall dump. I followed the short trend with a stop loss set above 85000. With 100x leverage and a very small position, the movement was much weaker than expected, free-falling directly to around 82400, doubling the return rate!
Moved the stop loss up to 84147, now watching if the 80000 whole number support can break.

With 50x leverage and a very small position, the movement was much weaker than expected, dropping directly to around 0.0675, yielding explosive returns!

I decided to cut the loss and close the position rather than let things get worse. The bulls have been struggling over the past couple of days, with several key support levels giving way. Further downside remains possible, so I'm stepping aside for now and waiting for a clearer setup before starting again. $SOL has shown impressive strength during this period, but When evaluating public chain projects, you can't just look at what the whitepaper says.
Take ACO as an example. The whitepaper's planned direction includes not only the underlying public chain but also modules like DEX, DApp, social content, cross-chain, and community governance.
For these modules to form a complete ecosystem, it involves not only technical development but also product experience, user adoption, and synergy among applications.
Therefore, when researching such projects, you can separate a few questions:
1. How is the development progress of the underlying infrastructure?
2. Are the planned applications actually implemented?
3. Are there real users and genuine usage demands?
4. Is the subsequent roadmap advancing according to the public plan?
The whitepaper can help us understand the project's design concept, but ultimately it needs to be verified by actual progress.
The above content is for project research communication only and does not constitute investment advice. $DOGE perpetual 50x short position, opened at 0.09058, currently 0.08425, floating profit +349.41%.
I've actually been watching this trade for quite a while. The 0.09 level was repeatedly tested but never broken; every time it approached this area, there was strong selling pressure. After confirming the top was valid, I decisively shorted on the bearish candle. Using 50x leverage, the position size was pushed to the extreme.
Currently floating profit is +349.41%, and the trailing stop has been moved to 0.09058. Not greedy, locking in profits first, then letting the rest run.
$ETH $ZEC #9月FOMC纪要公布,多数官员倾向再加息 400 milliseconds is too slow, 250 milliseconds still not enough? Solana is really preparing to race against time this time!
Honestly, the public chain space keeps shouting about performance upgrades every day, and I'm getting a bit numb to it. But this time Solana is pushing the block interval down to 200 milliseconds, and I think there's really something to it.
According to the upgrade plan, Solana expects to complete the final phase of adjustments by October 9, shortening from the initial 400 milliseconds all the way down to 200 milliseconds. What does that mean? Theoretically, it can produce 5 block opportunities per second, doubling the previous rate.
But what I think is most worth paying attention to is not how impressive the numbers are.
It's that Solana is pushing the public chain experience closer to the speed of traditional internet.
However, I have to pour some cold water.
Doubling the block speed doesn't mean TPS doubles directly, nor does it mean transactions get final confirmation instantly.
Validators need to vote more frequently, and network pressure, hardware costs, and stability are all real challenges.
Speed goes up, but whether the network can handle it is the real skill.
I've always thought Solana's most ambitious aspect is that it refuses to be just a public chain for Meme hype.
What it really wants to capture is the infrastructure gateway for transactions, payments, and global on-chain finance.
But no matter how good the technical scores are, there must be users, retention, and people willing to put money in.
So for this 200-millisecond upgrade, I'm not rushing to shout $SOL takeoff.
I want to see more: as blockchain gets faster and faster, how much business can traditional finance still hold onto? $MUBARAK perpetual 20x long position, opened at 0.072079, currently at 0.074923, unrealized profit +78.91%.
Entry logic: 0.072079 is a short-term low consolidation zone, tested without effective breakdown, short-term cycle shows rebound momentum, followed with a 20x long position, stop loss set below 0.071. After subsequent impulse rise and consolidation, the high point slightly retraced but the structure is temporarily maintained. Management: move stop loss up to around 0.0735 to lock in profits; 0.076 is short-term resistance, a breakout with volume continuation indicates trend continuation and can hold position targeting 0.078-0.08, low volume resistance suggests reducing position to prevent pullback. $BTC $ETH
#BTC现货ETF创近三个半月最大单日净流出 10-08 One daily candle, the difference from the high to the low is about ten points, the next day it moves less than two points all day, then a sharp drop halts, and the market suddenly quiets down. The voices guessing the bottom also stop, and only the count of how much has been recovered remains.
A sharp drop is different from a gradual decline. A sharp drop is smashed out in one breath, the segment that was smashed down stays on the chart, clearly showing from which price level it dropped and whether it has been recovered. You just count candle by candle. A gradual decline doesn’t have this advantage; the price moves a little each day, and by the end, no one can clearly say where the starting point was.
$SOL dropped from around 116 down to 105.7, a pit of about ten points, with half the line drawn at 111. On 10-09, it oscillated around 109 all day, the current price is 110.5, half a point away from the midpoint.
Recovering near the midpoint means this pit was filled with real money. The money smashed down and the money caught back exchanged hands around 111. The pit was filled in a few days, which is worth noting. Most of the squeezing at that speed were rebound grabs—grab a bit and then retreat, leaving the pit still there. The slower recovery style, where the catchers seem to intend to hold for a while.
Don’t rush to see filling the pit as a trend reversal. Filling the pit means the dropped segment has been recovered. How far it can go afterward depends on whether new buying interest is willing to enter. Repair after a sharp drop is not a one-day matter. Give the market a few days to let the money that caught it slowly solidify the pit.
Guess less about how many days it will take to return. Just check if the close hits 111. The days closing above it are increasing day by day, meaning this sharp drop is truly easing.HYPE now doesn't need predictions, it needs contingency plans
Scenario 1: Volume surges and price stands above 86.5. The super trend is reclaimed, signaling the end of this correction wave, and the price is very likely to retest the 89 to 91 range. Holders continue to hold, those without positions can follow, with stop loss set below 86.
Scenario 2: Breaks below 82.6. The previous low is lost, meaning the 82 to 95 structure is invalidated, and the next support will be around 78. Holders should reduce positions and admit the mistake, don't fight the trend; those without positions should keep waiting.
Scenario 3: Consolidation between 82.6 and 86.5. This is the most probable path, with volume shrinking on dips and rebounds, both bulls and bears are weak. This kind of market tests patience, the strategy is simple: watch more, act less, buy near the lower boundary, reduce near the upper boundary, and keep position sizes light.

Current trade snapshot: - Entry price: $2,488 - Position: 2 ETH short - Leverage: 100x - Reference price: $2,484 - Floating profit: +12% (approximately 6U) - Liquidation price: $2,551 - Trading capital: 150U The position is currently showing $ZEC perpetual 50x short position, opened at 1319.34, currently at 1220.61, floating profit +374.16%.

Finally waited for a big bearish candle to short. 50x leverage, stop loss at 1350. The movement was very smooth, no chance for a rebound, directly dropped to 1220.61.

$BTC $DOGE #跟着OKX打卡2049 Tonight, the US stock market is actually more important. Yesterday, it plunged sharply due to the small essay from openai, but the market clearly knows it's fake and still kept selling off. It has always been said that the revenue is this much. This is already a signal.
So today we need to see where the funds have gone; it's clearer to track fund flows during a drop.
If the sectors being lifted are food, energy, finance, software, and the AI industry chain sectors are still being sold off, while the index remains stable, that might not be a good sign.
The Nasdaq didn't fall much, it even rose, and the high-interest-rate-affected industry chains haven't recovered. That suggests some funds are retreating, and with a few cash flow giants rapidly rising, according to my understanding, it's before the storm arrives.
There will still be time to sell, but you can't hold stocks without strong cash flow anymore. Just admit defeat 😂 and play dead. Focus entirely on short positions; long positions only have a 3% stop-loss and can't open large positions. One gap down could easily lead to a margin call.

$ZEC $ETH #9月FOMC纪要公布,多数官员倾向再加息 Why is ZEC skyrocketing? Understand what it really is first
You only know that ZEC has risen, but do you know what it is?
ZEC, short for Zcash, is a privacy-focused public blockchain. Its core weapon is zero-knowledge proofs — the sender, receiver, and amount of a transaction are all hidden. On-chain, you can only see "a transaction has been verified," but not the specific details. Like Bitcoin, it uses a PoW mechanism with a total supply of 21 million coins, but it adds a "shielded address" privacy switch. Simply put, ZEC solves the problem of "exposing transactions on-chain."
Now look at the price. ZEC rose from under $20 in July 2024 to a peak of about $1,249 in September 2026, an increase of over 2,496% in one year, with its market cap once entering the global top seven. But then it sharply reversed, falling back to around $1,145 in early October, a drop of more than 25% from the September high. The 24-hour decline once reached 6.42%, moving averages are in a bearish alignment, and mid-term weakness signals have appeared.
This surge was driven by positive catalysts like the launch of the Grayscale ETF and the SEC ending its investigation, but regulatory risks for privacy coins have never disappeared, with many exchanges in various countries still restricting trading. Before following the trend, ask yourself: are you buying the technology or someone else's narrative? $BTC $ETH $ZEC #9月FOMC纪要公布,多数官员倾向再加息 The market is in such a mess, I did something strange: I read an official document's risk warning from start to finish
On October 6th, the SOL ETF about to be listed in Hong Kong clearly states in the product summary: the value of $SOL may plummet sharply in a short time, even to zero; the worst day in 2022 saw a single-day drop of 42.3%; you could lose everything in one day. This is what the regulator-approved product says.
I would have swiped away from this before, who wants to read this. This time I read it three times. Why? Because on that 42.3% drop day, I was there. That day in 2022, I stared at my phone, palms sweaty, didn’t touch my lunch. I still remember that feeling.
Strangely, after reading it, I actually felt reassured. They printed the harshest words on paper, no hiding. What’s scary is not the risk, but that no one tells you there is risk.
My wife came over and asked what I was looking at, why my face was so serious. I said I was reading a horror story. She said I was crazy.
I’m not. The routine is the same: hold on, dollar-cost average, only use money you can afford to lose, no leverage. $SUI short position +79% stable, but remind yourself: the biggest fear under 50x leverage is a spike that wipes out the big profits. The move from 1.0748 to 1.0578 relies on failure to recover, bull trap, and breakdown confirmation. New public chains/high volatility coins are very messy to trade back and forth; don't chase sharp drops nor expect a continuous drop without pullbacks; use stop-loss to protect capital, let profits run but don't give back gains. Hold as long as the structure holds, exit if the structure breaks. $BTC $ETH Dogecoin is a bit embarrassed this time
Bitwise's spot ETF got approved, making a big show, but when you look at the fund assets, it's only $726,000. This amount is barely a splash in the crypto world.
The market is honest though. A bearish candle hit 0.08092 at dawn, then slowly crept back up over the next few hours, now just above 0.084, having just climbed above the 20-hour moving average, while the 5-day and 10-day moving averages still press down from above. 4.4 billion coins changed hands in 24 hours, indicating some buying, but without much confidence.
Veteran players are familiar with this storyline. Dogecoin news is never lacking—Elon Musk speaks up, ETFs get approved, news keeps coming one after another, yet the price keeps its usual mood, swaying with the broader market. Up 11.92% in 90 days, down 11.39% in 7 days, and over the long term, just grinding in place.
My stance hasn't changed: using $DOGE as a portfolio adjustment is fine, but don't expect ETFs to bring in big institutional money in the short term. A $726,000 fund size shows traditional money is still watching from the sidelines. If you really want to act, watch the 0.088 level—only talk about trend if it breaks out with volume; if it doesn't, don't make things harder for yourself.12-Hour Liquidation Pain Points Overview: Concentrated Positions on Both Long and Short Sides, Liquidation Pressure Above and Below
The 12-hour dimension pain point chart for longs and shorts is released. For the three major assets BTC, ETH, and SOL, large concentrated positions accumulate in both upper and lower ranges, posing concentrated liquidation risks on both sides.

$ETH $ZEC #9月FOMC纪要公布,多数官员倾向再加息 Thailand's SEC announced Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF rules, effective October 16, adding custody and trading restrictions. This is positive news, but the $BTC market hasn't strengthened in the short term following the sentiment. The current price is around 82,448, still below the 200 EMA (82,566), RSI is only 39.5, MACD histogram is negative, indicating bearish momentum. Resistance remains at 83,166 and 83,520 above, with a lot of buy stop-loss orders clustered near 84,423. Until these levels are broken, I consider any rebound a pullback. I'm watching the 83,244 level closely; I won't easily add long positions until it breaks above, preferring to stay on the sidelines. If it falls below 81,715, liquidity around 81,300 might be swept, so the risk is still skewed downward. If the 4-hour close breaks above 83,951, this downtrend will be invalidated, and I will consider reducing short positions. Regulation is positive, but the market itself is still in a bearish structure. Do you think this wave will break support first or rebound directly? #BTCETFBiggestOutflow Gold ETFs are aggressively attracting funds, yet gold prices are suppressed by high interest rates
A few words from the leader:
Gold ETFs saw a net inflow of $31 billion in Q3, a record high, with total holdings at 4,256 tons. However, gold prices have dropped to 4066, a new low since August 5. Money is flowing in, but prices are falling.
The reason is straightforward: U.S. Treasury yields are at 5.36%, the dollar is relatively strong, and futures longs are reducing positions. Middle East tensions have pushed oil prices up, raising inflation expectations, which increases the cost of holding gold. Under high interest rates, gold's safe-haven appeal weakens.
There has been a turning point in the past two days; both the dollar and U.S. Treasuries have retreated, and gold is rising from the bottom. On the 7th, it dropped near 4100, on the 8th it oscillated around 4130, and today London gold surged to 4185-4195, up more than 1 point intraday, showing a short-term rebound.
Gold's rebound is indirectly positive for Bitcoin, as both await a macro shift, but Bitcoin faces greater difficulty. ETFs had a net outflow of $487 million yesterday, the largest since June 25, due to leverage clearing and tax selling pressure. Long-term U.S. Treasury yields at 5.7% are weighing down, making it hard for Bitcoin to strengthen independently in the short term.
My short position at 86500 remains, the logic unchanged: positive news priced in + heavy resistance above + capital outflow. Stop loss at 87500, target 84500-85000. This gold rebound does not change the bearish stance.
Do not chase the short-term gold rebound; continue holding the short Bitcoin position with proper stop loss.[Rafael Schultze-Kraft: About 6.26 million BTC public keys have been publicly revealed on-chain]
Glassnode co-founder Rafael Schultze-Kraft stated that the public keys of addresses holding about 6.26 million BTC have been publicly revealed on-chain, accounting for 31.2% of the current supply, higher than 24.8% at the beginning of 2021. Among them, about 4.33 million BTC were exposed due to address reuse, and about 1.94 million BTC are related to script types. This statistic does not indicate that quantum attacks are currently feasible, nor can it be used to assess the security status of exchanges or custodians. This round of rebound is by no means a trend reversal.
The market bulls continue to be washed out, with liquidations accounting for over 90%.
The daily moving averages are all in a bearish arrangement, with a retracement of more than 8% from the high of 87239, and the retracement strength is very weak.
The core bearish factor comes from institutional capital flight,
with a single-day net outflow of $484.9 million from the US $BTC ETF, hitting a new high for June,
BlackRock's large-scale withdrawal, and the complete absence of main incremental funds.
The industry standard is clear: only with continuous large net inflows into ETFs can the market be considered truly warming up.
However, the macro landscape hides positive signals.
US Treasury auctions are strong, yields have fallen from high levels,
geopolitical risks have cooled down, and stablecoin channels have seen net growth for seven consecutive days.
Multiple positive factors have landed but prices do not rise; the logic is not contradictory.
The current situation is a carefully designed double act by the US before the election.
The aircraft carrier deterrence is just hype and will not lead to actual war.
The purpose is to stabilize oil prices $CL to protect the election situation,
not to impact the financial markets, while accumulating military chips,
laying the groundwork for post-election strategic bargaining.
In the short term, focus on the 82800 resistance level,
failure to break through means a panic rebound; if the 81000 support cannot hold, it will look down to 79000.

ETFs are still buying, but BTC has slipped to 81,000, ETH retreated to 2,420, and ZEC dropped more than 10% in a single day. The money hasn't left, but prices are weakening—this is the most glaring signal.
Looking at the daily charts, the three look like copy-paste: rally, sideways, dip, then sideways again. No panic-driven long bearish candles, but every day is painful for bottom-fishers. This kind of "boiling frog in warm water" is the most wearing—every small rebound looks like an opportunity, but ends up as a new trap.
ETF inflows indicate allocation demand, but that doesn't mean all selling pressure can be absorbed. Deleveraging, profit-taking, and deflating high-volatility assets are all happening simultaneously. What the market lacks is not funds, but buyers willing to keep absorbing during the decline.
So, don't rush to call bull or bear now, nor rush to chase rebounds. The real focus should be on three levels: whether BTC can hold 80,000, whether ETH can stop falling first, and whether ZEC can reclaim its key zone. If BTC breaks below 80,000, sentiment may drop another notch; if ETH and ZEC continue to weaken, it indicates risk appetite is still contracting.
Strategically, it's better to wait for confirmation than to catch a falling knife. Watch if prices stop falling with volume, if rebounds can hold, and if selling pressure is exhausted. Fund inflows are the backdrop; buying support is the answer. Now, patience is more valuable than courage. 【5000 U Challenge 10000 U|Live Trading Diary|Day 24】

📊 Market Review
Macroeconomic news continues to disturb the market, with strong correlation between crypto and US stocks; the volatile and repetitive trend has not ended.
Today the account saw a slight recovery, with a single-day profit turning positive, but overall the account remains in a floating loss zone. The spot holdings of XPL and ZEC still bear the main pressure of unrealized losses, dragging down performance. Both assets had significant declines earlier; currently, the original positions are maintained without rushing to add or average down.
📝 Today's Trading Record
1. Multiple US stock orders successfully settled, generating a small profit, which was the main source of today's account recovery. The observed price level was around 350, with an order cycle of 2 days and 5 hours.
2. The cash portion continues to maintain base positions: USDT, USDC, USDG stable holdings continue to earn interest, with stablecoin interest income arriving steadily as a supplement to base cash flow.
3. Strictly following the previously set plan, no new spot positions were added; still waiting for the asset price to rise back above the MA20 moving average line and confirm the bottom structure before deploying remaining cash flow.
💡 Today's Reflections
Today's single-day positive return does not change the overall situation; it is just a normal corrective rebound in a volatile market.
It is becoming clearer that US stock and crypto holdings should be evenly allocated, avoiding over-concentration in a single sector. Also, remember not to rush to add positions and average down once the price clearly breaks below the moving average; it is difficult to time the exact bottom during a downtrend.
High-yield short-term orders look attractive, but the underlying asset's downside risk is always the top priority. Do not focus solely on annualized returns while ignoring the drawdown pressure on the spot side.
Patience remains the most important thing now; keep your bullets ready and act only when structural signals become clear.
⚠️ Risk Warning: Market volatility risk is extremely high; all operations are personal live trading records and do not constitute any investment advice.

Day 15, added another 100U.
I know many people will scold me when they see this sentence. But honestly, at that moment, there was only one thought in my mind: average down the cost, lower the average price, and wait for a rebound to recover.
And the result?
The position kept falling. I stared at that downward line from morning to afternoon, feeling colder the more I watched.
When adding to the position, I thought "I'll add more if it falls again," but after adding, I realized—it really could fall further.
Now the position is heavier, the loss is greater, but I actually feel even less like leaving. Because if I leave, I really lose; if I hold on, at least on paper there is still a "possibility to recover."
I know this is gambler's psychology. But at this point, rationality no longer works well.
Today's review:
• Added another 100U, trying to average down the cost
• Position kept falling, losses increased the more I held
• Position got heavier, mentality worsened
• Adding to average down is the classic death trap for retail investors
Conclusion: The more it falls, the more you add; the more you add, the more it falls.
This is not trading, it's gambling.
But I'm already at the table, can't get off. $TIA this short at 0.5091, current price 0.4732, 50x floating profit 356%. $ZEC
On the 4-hour chart, after surging to 0.5293, it closed with a long upper shadow and consecutive bearish candles, a large bearish candle smashed through the dense moving average zone (MA5:0.5047, MA10:0.4884, MA20:0.4755), a typical trap after a spike. After bottoming at 0.4438, it rebounded; currently at 0.4732, it just hit near MA20, volume shrank from 21M to 8.15M. The market feels like a low-volume rebound meeting resistance at the moving averages, heavy trapped positions between 0.488-0.504, no volume to break through. Although it rebounded 5.64% today, it is a technical repair after a deep drop, not a real reversal. $SOL
However, after dropping so much from 0.5293, chasing shorts at low levels has mediocre cost-effectiveness, and the current rebound has a strong body. 356% floating profit at 50x leverage can't withstand a 2% wick draining it. The operation is straightforward: lock in profits with a large position first, keep a base position to watch if the previous low at 0.4438 breaks; if it recovers above 0.4884 (MA10), exit all. Paper wealth is not money, only cash in hand is solid. #BTC现货ETF创近三个半月最大单日净流出 Today's market showed an extremely extreme 20/80 split. $XRP $1.384 | $SOL $109.5 | $DOGE $0.0841
The three major altcoins followed the market's sharp decline, with XRP falling below 1.40, SOL losing 110, and DOGE approaching the 0.084 defense line.
DOGE large wallets collectively reduced holdings by 100 million coins. Addresses holding between 1 million and 100 million DOGE have collectively reduced about 100 million DOGE since Tuesday. DOGE has fallen below the 100-day, 50-day, and 200-day EMAs, RSI is around 40, and MACD is below the zero line. 0.084 is the last defense line of the uptrend line; a daily close below it will open the 0.078 and 0.070 spaces.
SOL broke below the lower boundary of the ascending channel. SOL dropped from 116 to around 109, RSI 44.89 below neutral, MACD bearish. The lower edge of the volume distribution range at 116-117 has been lost, opening a quick slide down to 112 or even 108. It needs to retake 118 and hold 120 to relieve downward pressure.
XRP's profitable chip ratio hits a 9-month high, which is actually a hidden risk. 57.172% of circulating XRP is in profit, about 39.1 billion coins of floating profit. Around 1.40 is the cost zone of the rebound buy chips from August to September; once broken, it may trigger concentrated profit-taking.

Starknet is actively considering breaking away from Ethereum to transform into an independent public chain. But looking beyond the narrative to reality: current DeFi TVL is only $160 million, and daily fee income is dismal at just a few thousand dollars.
Having raised $280 million, it not only fails to retain liquidity on L2 but its self-sustaining ability is nearly halted. Even relying on Ethereum can't capture traffic; going solo with a new shell, can it really grow an ecosystem out of thin air?
Packaging retreat from the race as a forward-looking upgrade, this kind of evasive story won't save $STRK.THE L2 THAT MAY RESIGN FROM BEING AN L2.

#STRK #Starknet #QuantumSecurityIf you want to bottom-fish now, try to choose altcoins that have dropped the most on the decline list, such as $UNI, $PONS, $ENA, and avoid altcoins that currently look strong on the gainers list. Because once the market stabilizes, those strong altcoins will catch up with the drop.
A crash is the touchstone to test quality coins. If the market crashes and your coin only dips slightly, it’s obviously being supported by the whales refusing to let it fall, so you can hold such coins with confidence and expect gains.
The above method was basically reliable during good market conditions like in 2023 and the first half of 2024, but now the manipulation tactics of the dog whales have gradually changed. They start to maintain prices during market crashes to attract attention and buyers, and when the market stabilizes, other coins begin to rebound while these coins catch up with the drop, such as $CRV and $NEAR. A few days ago, when the market fell, these coins performed strongly, giving the illusion of capital support, but today they still caught up with the drop. So use this method cautiously for now. The market is constantly changing, and we must keep learning and keep up with the changes. The only constant in the world is that it is always changing.

$XAUT #霍尔木兹通航降至两月低位,油价跳涨4% The Strait of Hormuz, as a global energy artery, currently sees tanker traffic fall to a two-month low, directly pushing up crude oil risk premiums and causing oil prices to surge 4% in the short term. This is not a complete blockade; it is more about shipowners hedging risks and rising insurance costs, leading to a voluntary reduction in passage. This is a supply expectation disturbance, not an actual supply cut.
The market's core concern is that rising oil prices will again push up inflation expectations, forcing the Federal Reserve to maintain a hawkish stance, with U.S. Treasury yields likely to strengthen accordingly. For crypto assets, this is an indirect negative; under high inflation expectations, risk assets come under pressure, and safe-haven funds tend to flow out.
Going forward, focus on two signals: whether navigation continues to decline and whether there is substantive progress in U.S.-Iran negotiations. If it is just a short-term risk-avoidance behavior, oil prices will most likely spike and then fall back; if the passage remains restricted, inflation expectations will continue to rise, persistently suppressing risk assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum. CryptoQuant analyst MAC_D pointed out that Bitcoin has retraced from the October 5 high of $87,027 to the October 9 low of $80,404, a pullback of about 7.61%, close to the 2022-2025 bull market cycle average pullback of 7.58%, and below the historical overall average pullback of 14.39%. Based on the historical overall average pullback of 14.39%, the corresponding price is about $74,500. The analyst suggests gradually accumulating BTC around $80,000, and increasing positions if it falls to the $74,000 to $75,000 range.BTC was still chatting about 90,000 a couple of days ago, and today it directly dropped to 81,000, the hits are loud and clear. But I think this is not a fundamental collapse, it's leverage being forcibly squeezed out. Over 1 billion USD liquidated in 24 hours, mostly longs. High leverage betting on a rise, once a key level breaks, chain liquidations trigger a stampede to exit. It's not that BTC suddenly lost value, it's that those borrowing to gamble got forcibly liquidated.
This is different from the 19 billion in October last year. Back then, funding rates were over 20% annualized, scorching hot; this time it's only about 7%, and liquidation intensity is just about one-ninth of last September.
So why the drop? Money got expensive. The Fed's September minutes leaned hawkish, with a 85% chance of a rate hike in December; 10-year US Treasury yields at 5.3%, oil prices above 104 pushing inflation. Risk assets are definitely taking a hit.
I see around 80,000 as the psychological line for bulls. If it holds, it's a shakeout; if not, liquidation orders around 75,000 might queue up. JPMorgan says about 50 billion USD more will come in this year, big money hasn't withdrawn, but short-term won't rush to buy.
In my opinion, first unload the leverage, hold spot and don't panic. Those liquidated were forcibly closed, not actively bearish. Selling only means margin was insufficient, not that BTC is failing. After this wave of forced liquidations passes, the market will be much cleaner.

CoinShares Head of Research James Butterfill stated that since mid-July, digital asset funds have cumulatively inflowed $11.1 billion, but recent inflows have slowed, reflecting uncertainty. The yield on the U.S. 10-year Treasury has risen above 5.3%, and the 30-year Treasury yield has reached 5.7%, both at their highest levels in over twenty years. The probability of a Federal Reserve rate hike in October has dropped from 71% to 23%. James Butterfill believes the importance of the bond market may exceed that of the Federal Reserve, and that a Bitcoin breakout needs to be driven by fiscal logic.
$BTC $BTC This pullback, the most frustrating thing is not being stuck, but missing the entry by 100 points.
Yesterday, after closing the short at 83600 from 85550, I kept watching the market. Unexpectedly, BTC kept dropping, falling from above 86,000 on the 4-hour chart all the way down to 80351, that low was really brutal.
I had placed a long order at 80200 in advance, planning to catch a rebound after the sharp drop. But the lowest point only reached 80351, 151 points short, and then the price bounced back to around 81800.
It’s honestly regretful. If the order had been filled, there would at least be a chance to ride some of the rebound now.
But thinking calmly, an unfilled order doesn’t necessarily mean the judgment was right; a rebound doesn’t necessarily mean the bottom is in.
The most obvious change in the market now is the fast drop, a rebound at the low, but there’s still resistance near 84000 above. Next, I want to see if around 80300 can hold and whether the rebound has sustainability, rather than rushing to go long just because of a single green candle.
The most tormenting part of trading isn’t losing money, but missing out on making money by a little.
But the market won’t give me another chance just because I missed the order by 151 points.
This trade is missed and that’s that. Next time, I’ll wait for the price to reach the planned level before acting.

Want to hit 0.06? Fine, go ahead, if it does, I’ll eat my keyboard on live stream.
I’ll just sit below 0.05 with a small stool, watching the drama unfold.
If you really manage to push it up hard, I’ll do a handstand and applaud you. $ETH Ethereum pulled back from 2432 to above 2500 today, rising 2.6% intraday. But just a few hours ago, the market went through a massacre.
In the past 24 hours, the entire network liquidated $1.193 billion, with over 190,000 people liquidated. Long positions liquidated $1.055 billion, shorts only $138 million, longs were massively harvested.
The largest single liquidation happened on Ethereum, $19.98 million, wiped out in one shot.
Then I saw something even more absurd.
A giant whale holding 28,716 Ethereum long positions was liquidated, worth $69.69 million. After being liquidated, he didn’t run, but doubled down. He currently still holds 78,955 Ethereum longs, worth $196 million. The new liquidation prices are $2299 and $2286.
Liquidated once, not satisfied, keeps holding on. The liquidation price is just below, less than $200 away.
How is this different from me?
When I was liquidated on CORE before, I had the same mindset. Losing but unwilling to accept it, adding more, holding on, getting liquidated again. The difference is they lost tens of millions, I lost a few hundred U. But essentially, it’s the same action: not giving up.
Ethereum ETFs are also running. Eight consecutive trading days of net outflows, BlackRock alone withdrew $71.12 million yesterday, with cumulative outflows exceeding $640 million. Institutions are running, whales are holding, retail investors are getting liquidated.
I even lost 0.35 U.
Let’s discuss in the comments, with Ethereum pulling back from 2432, do you think this is a rebound or a bull trap?
