Brothers, this wave of decline really broke the bulls' hearts!!!
ETH current price is 2484, it looks like it's holding steady, but none of the hidden traps below have been cleared.
A giant whale was liquidated of 28,700 ETH near 2430, worth about 69.69 million USD. What's more troublesome is that he still holds nearly 79,000 long positions, with liquidation prices concentrated at 2299 and 2286.
In other words, there's still a nearly 200 million USD trap buried around 2290.
Looking at market sentiment: Binance long accounts account for 76.7%, retail long-short ratio is 2.12:1, almost everyone is crowding in the same direction.
Meanwhile, ETH spot ETF has had net outflows for 8 consecutive trading days, with a cumulative outflow of 578.9 million USD in October.
Institutions are withdrawing, whales are being liquidated, but retail investors are still bottom-fishing.
The macro environment hasn't eased either. Waller just delivered a hawkish tone, Goldman Sachs raised its forecast again, and the market is even starting to discuss the possibility of two more rate hikes.
The knife of tightening liquidity still hangs overhead; rushing to call the bottom now carries significant risk.
I've held this position from 2713 to now, with a return of +169.95%. The plan remains: light short positions at 2500–2520, stop loss at 2600, target 2400, if broken then look at 2300.
Once the trap near 2290 is triggered, the real waterfall may just be beginning.

Let's review last night's mess:

This long upper shadow on MET is profit-taking on good news. Riding the DLMM Pro news, it surged to 0.5543, but bulls were slammed down immediately, with huge selling pressure above. There is also ongoing unlocking selling pressure; this is a speculative pulse market, and as the hype fades, it’s likely to continue falling. Still bearish 🈳️
$BTC The overall market trend has already started to go down. As long as it breaks below 82,000, it will return to defending 80,000. This rise is very likely a correction, not a reversal. The weekend market probably won’t go up.

⚠️ Wide SL (~6.6%), keep leverage manageable and manage risk properly!I stayed up all night for that 0.2 seconds of SOL
Last night, I did something unlike a newbie: I watched the countdown, waiting for something I didn’t understand to go live.
On October 9th, Solana’s block interval officially dropped to 200 milliseconds. At genesis, it was 400 milliseconds, then it was reduced three times: 350, 300, 250, and this time it’s the fourth cut, activated at epoch 1053, proposal named SIMD-0525, which I had to read three times to get right. The dev team Anza just posted three words: mission accomplished.
What does 200 milliseconds mean? You blink your eye in three to four hundred milliseconds; before your eyelid closes, two new blocks are already lined up. One epoch also shrinks from about two days to about one day.
I was happy but also wondered: what does this have to do with us retail investors? Isn’t the market still the same? Later, I tried an on-chain $SOL transfer and confirmed the notification popped up faster than my phone unlocking. At that moment, I understood: speed itself is the experience.
I was actually anxious earlier in the night, afraid the upgrade would go wrong, staring at my phone and not daring to sleep. But nothing happened; it was as quiet as changing a light bulb.
The routine remains: hold, dollar-cost average, don’t make reckless moves. $ETH FELL BELOW ALL THREE WMAs AFTER A 2,807.67 HIGH. Price sits at 2,493.12, under WMA5 2,512.52, WMA10 2,579.87, WMA20 2,629.47. Yet 90D still reads +37.98%. I'd rather

Latest price is 0.15339, 24-hour high hit 0.15936, a crazy 168.21% jump in 7 days, and an outrageous 257.63% in 30 days. A few days ago, I was watching it start from 0.066, and now it’s broken through 0.15 straight away, with a trading volume of 485 million U — it’s a completely untamed wild horse.
Looking back at the short position I just opened
This move really was like a stubborn head banging against a titanium steel plate. Against such a violently rising meme coin, trying to short at the top is like grabbing fire with bare hands. Even with a small position for trial and a clear stop loss, it can’t withstand it blasting through previous highs in one go. This thing going crazy is seriously deadly, I’m totally convinced, I’m going to reflect on this 👊.

SUI/USDT Perpetual 30-Minute Review
Opinion of this ID: After breaking below the purple consolidation zone earlier, the price has been steadily declining to a low of 0.9968. Currently, this is just a corrective rebound after the drop; the trend has not truly reversed. Once the rebound reaches the resistance level and fails to rise further, consider positioning short.
Entry: Short when the rebound nears the upper resistance and the candlestick shows signs of stalling and weakening.
Stop Loss: Place above the high point of this rebound wave.
Chan Theory Structure: On the 30-minute timeframe, the price previously oscillated within the large purple consolidation zone, then broke down sharply, forming a strong downward move with a low at 0.9968. Currently, this is a secondary pullback after the breakdown; the price still hasn't reclaimed the original lower boundary of the consolidation zone. The overall downtrend structure remains intact, and after the rebound ends, there is still a possibility of further testing the low.
Wyckoff Volume-Price Observation: The volume significantly increased during the downward sell-off, showing strong bearish pressure being released. In contrast, the volume during this rebound is clearly insufficient, indicating a low-volume recovery with no major buying force entering. The sustainability of this rebound is questionable, as the bulls lack momentum and can easily be suppressed again by the bears.
Key Observation: Focus on the old consolidation resistance zone above. If the rebound cannot effectively hold above this level, this rebound is likely over; only a volume-backed hold above resistance would require revising the current view.$SUI: Long Position
Strategy:
· Wait for the price to pull back to the 1.0750-1.0780 range (EMA5/EMA10 dense support zone) and stabilize before entering a long position.
· The initial target is 1.0943 (24-hour high); if this is effectively broken, the next target is 1.1200. Set stop-loss defense below 1.0650.
Core Basis:
1. Bullish moving average alignment: On the 1-hour timeframe, the price strongly stands above EMA5 (1.0807), EMA10 (1.0751), and EMA20 (1.0704). Short-term moving averages are turning upward, establishing a short-term bullish structure.
2. Good volume-price coordination: Since the 0.9971 bottom, there was a high-volume deep V reversal. Currently, there is low volume consolidation at a high level, which is a typical bullish continuation accumulation. Main funds have not fled, and selling pressure is exhausted.
3. Resistance and risk-reward ratio: There is previous trapped position selling pressure around 1.0943 and 1.1200, so a direct breakout probability is low; a pullback to repair indicators is needed. Support below is clear, making pullback entry and defense clear, with a better risk-reward ratio.
#跟着OKX打卡2049 What is the truth about the US stock market?
For US stock index funds, you must dare to buy more during a bear market.
In fact, the market will definitely fall to a point where you don't dare to buy.
Various news will make you feel that this time is different, that this time is the end of the world.
You will curse all those who advise others to buy US stocks, but it is precisely at this time that you must buy. Almost all your future returns and confidence come from the unrealized gains of these few transactions. The reason to dare to buy is really simple: because the Earth won't explode, the game must go on.
These are experiences gained by risking money; reading them in writing is understandable, but without truly experiencing it, you cannot comprehend it.
After spending a long time in the capital market, you will find that no story or narrative in society can convince you; your instincts become incredibly sharp.
If you want to accumulate wealth through the capital market, your main job is indispensable. Stable off-market income will give you great confidence to get through the bear market, after all, you are at an unrealized loss during a bear market.
What determines the final returns over decades is not frequent daily trading, but a few tail events.
Tail events decide everything.
If you want to achieve long-term compound interest, the primary goal is not to pursue extremely high annualized returns, but to build an unbreakable investment system that ensures you can stay in the market regardless of whether it soars or crashes.
As long as you are not kicked out of the market by tail events, and you can persist long enough, compound interest will have a chance to work its power.
The true long-term winners are not those who catch every market move, but those who survive through round after round of extreme market conditions and remain in the market.📉 Market Dynamics and Pressure
· ETF Continues to Bleed: The US spot Ethereum ETF has seen net outflows for 8 consecutive trading days, totaling $641.3 million, with outflows exceeding those of Bitcoin funds ($489.9 million).
· Whale Buying to Cease Soon: Bitmine, a long-term ETH buyer, stated it will stop purchasing once its holdings reach 5% of ETH's total supply, currently about 100,000 ETH short of that target.
· Chips Returning to Exchanges: Santiment data shows that from October 4 to 8, over 100,000 ETH moved from wallets to exchanges, contrary to Bitcoin's outflow trend, increasing short-term selling pressure.
· Bearish Contract Market: Binance ETH perpetual contract sell orders ($68.79 million) significantly exceed buy orders ($56.66 million), indicating sellers dominate in the short term.
· Key Support: The $2,400 level is seen as critical support; if held, there is still potential to challenge previous highs of $2,806 and even $3,000 in the medium term.
· Overall Structure: Some analysts view the current pullback as a correction within an uptrend, with the large-scale bullish structure intact, though short-term bulls and bears are battling more intensely.
Overall, although Ethereum stabilized slightly today, factors such as weekly weakness, ETF capital outflows, and whale buying nearing limits create short-term pressure, with liquidation risks below worth monitoring.

Strategy:
· Wait for the price to rebound to the 1220-1230 range (EMA moving average dense resistance zone) and then enter short.
· The target is first 1195 (24-hour low); if broken effectively, then 1160. Set stop loss above 1245 (24-hour high).
Core basis:
1. Moving average bearish pressure: On the 1-hour level, EMA5(1213), EMA10(1213), EMA20(1214) are tightly clustered and sloping downward, with price continuously pressured below the moving averages, indicating a clear short-term weak trend.
2. Lowering high points in the pattern: After a sharp drop from the high of 1369, the rebound high only reached 1247.8 before falling again, failing to break the previous high, which is a typical weak recovery and downward continuation pattern, showing weak bullish counterattack.
3. Poor volume-price coordination: Although there was volume surge for bottom buying near 1111, the recent rebound phase shows extremely shrinking volume, indicating heavy selling pressure above and insufficient bullish support, making trend-following shorting more favorable in risk-reward.

#BTC现货ETF创近三个半月最大单日净流出 🦈 Saturday morning: Four mysterious wallets precisely shorting BTC, with 1 million principal at 40x leverage, floating profit shrinks to 390,000 after rebound
#9月FOMC纪要公布,多数官员倾向再加息
On-chain data, monitored by Lookonchain, shows that the four newly created wallets completed a precise short on Hyperliquid before the crash. Each wallet deposited 250,000 USDC, totaling 1 million principal, opening 40x BTC short positions.
$BTC 148.49 coins·40X short, average entry price 85500. Opening time was between 8:04 and 8:17 PM Eastern Time on Tuesday. Within hours after opening, BTC dropped from 86000 to 82000, they timed the top precisely.
Based on BTC at 82886 now, this short position's floating profit is about 390,000 USD, a 39% return on the 1 million principal. BTC rebounded from 82000 to 82886, their profit shrank from 460,000 to 390,000. The funds of the four wallets come from the same source.
Over the past 48 hours, the entire network liquidated over 1 billion USD, with bulls accounting for more than 80%. These four wallets are among the few shorts positioned before the crash. Big brother Maji lost nearly all of his 151 million large position, down to less than 1 million net value, while they earned 390,000 from 1 million.

$ETH went from 2405 back to 2500, and $ZEC spiked to 1111 before climbing to 1225.
What does this price level mean:

During the intraday plunge, the price kept falling with insufficient support. Being out of position isn't a sin; opening positions recklessly is the mistake.
From 0.5063 down to 0.3101, the short position gained +776.21%. Everyone in the car must have woken up laughing. Really satisfying, time to enjoy a good meal.
Position action: first close 80%, pocket the major profit, keep the remaining 20% at cost price as protection. Let the profit run if it continues to drop, but don't give back profits on the rebound. Don't be greedy for the last bit.
For friends who haven't entered yet, listen to me: now is not the time to chase. Chasing shorts easily leads to getting taught by rebounds. Wait for a more comfortable position in the next round; I'll notify you immediately. Opportunities remain, don't rush.
$SNDK $SOL Ledger has been exposed to a large-scale fund theft, with estimated losses exceeding 86 million USD, involving hundreds of wallets.
The core issue lies with authorized distributors.
Ledger has requested Southeast Asian distributor CryptoBilis to suspend sales and shipments, and advises users who purchased devices from this channel in the past 90 days: if not set up, do not set up; if set up, transfer assets.
CZ's judgment is: this appears to be a supply chain attack limited to a single supplier, with a few users possibly having bought counterfeit or tampered devices.
The former Mt. Gox CEO even disassembled a device and found a spy chip hidden in the screen gasket position, capable of remotely sending mnemonic phrases via LTE.
This is the most ironic aspect of hardware wallets:
You buy it to keep your "private keys offline."
But attackers can install a "network" inside the device after manufacturing and before it reaches you.
The moment you enter your mnemonic phrase, it has already been sent out,
The security of a hardware wallet has never depended solely on the chip.
It depends on who you buy it from.
So, are there other safer ways to store cryptocurrency? One year ago today, many people were liquidated, and the market began to discuss whether such a story would repeat. In fact, for most retail investors, there is no difference; the mainstream assets to hold are still held, and the narratives to wait for on-chain continue to wait.

Previously, the government had just moved 9,261 BTC into Coinbase Prime. Moving wallets does not equal selling; government consolidation and actual dumping are two different things; but the market always panics first, then looks at the chain data. On Kalshi, some have already opened positions betting that BTC will drop to 78,000 this month.46% of people say they might use stablecoins within five years, but only 16% have actually used them.
Seeing these numbers together, my first reaction isn’t excitement, it’s laughter.
This Visa survey covered over 14,000 people in the Asia-Pacific region. Nearly half believe stablecoins could be used for cross-border transfers in the future. Sounds impressive.
But only 6% really understand how they work.
49% of those who know about stablecoins think they’re only for trading.
In short, most people aren’t eager to use them; they just clicked "maybe" without fully understanding.
I know this trap well. Back in the day, many said they’d use crypto payments to buy coffee, but in the end, no coffee was bought and the coins lost value first.
The good news is, Visa is building settlement networks, and Reap is working on local currency stablecoins for HKD, KRW, and JPY. The infrastructure is genuinely moving.
The bad news is, awareness hasn’t caught up, so the hype is hollow.
My stance: this is a long-term positive, but don’t treat 46% as a bullish signal to hype.
If you want to watch, watch for actual usage rates rising from 16%.
Words about five years are less convincing than one on-chain transaction.

The current actual situation and practical trading ideas for FIL are as follows:
At the red line in the chart, the 4H-level receives support, and as long as the overall market does not decline further, a strong rebound occurs.
As long as the structure is not broken, the assets that rebound are always those with intact bullish structures. This perspective and approach to selecting assets have been correct for ages.
Practical analysis: After receiving effective support at 0.9885, a strong upward rebound appeared. First: currently wait for the previous high at 1.23 to be broken before chasing directly.
Second, if it cannot break through, wait for the 1H-level to pull back to around 1.101, receive support, and entering the market is also acceptable. $MAGIC Don't play altcoins, turn back while you still can
How long have you been playing altcoins? #新手必看:这里有你需要的一切
Is the first thing you do every morning open the group chat, check the K-line, and see if there are any new shitcoins? Do you want to recover losses when you lose, want more when you profit, only to find your account getting thinner and thinner? Do you know deep down this stuff is unreliable, but you keep telling yourself "just one more bet and I'll stop"?
If so, listen to me: turn back while you still can.
Altcoins are not investments, they are gambles. And a gamble where you can't even clearly see the rules. The house has chips, insider info, market makers, bots; you only have a phone and some hard-earned money. You think you're trading, but actually you're just handing over money.
You see others flaunting hundredfold gains and think that's an opportunity. But you don't know that behind those hundredfold gains are thousands of coins that went to zero and thousands of losers who dare not speak up. Survivor bias makes you only see the thieves eating meat, not the thieves getting beaten. Many of those beaten have already quit the scene, many are broke, many even have life problems.
How do altcoins kill you?
Poor liquidity means when prices drop you can't escape, orders go unfilled, prices get smashed through. Project teams run away, exchanges pull the plug, Ponzi schemes only let money in, contracts get manipulated, leverage liquidations. You lose money and don't even know who to turn to. Rights protection groups are set up one after another, but in the end the group leaders run away.
Worse, it kills your mindset. You start doubting yourself, doubting life, doubting everything. You can't sleep, can't eat, lose focus at work, can't talk to family. You just wanted to make some money, but ended up losing your normal life.
So what to do? Turn back.
Turning back is not admitting defeat, it's cutting losses. It's admitting you're not suited for this game, admitting you can't beat the house, admitting you don't want to gamble your principal on a fleeting hundredfold dream.
What to do after turning back? You can do $BTC, $ETH — at least they have consensus, liquidity, institutions, regulatory checks, and won't disappear overnight. Or you can simply hold no positions, put your money back in the bank, work well, live well. You'll find that days without altcoins are much more peaceful.
Don't feel ashamed to quit. In this market, staying alive is the greatest dignity. Many who are still killing it in altcoins can no longer turn back. If you still can, consider yourself lucky.
Don't play altcoins, turn back while you still can.
There may not be sudden wealth on the shore, but at least there is your own life. #创作者激励 311 wallets, approximately $92.9 million outflow. 2. Good volume-price coordination: The previous large rally was accompanied by significant volume; currently, volume has sharply contracted during the high-level pullback phase, which is a typical consolidation and accumulation in an uptrend, with no major fund outflow.
3. Resistance and risk-reward ratio: The 0.07767 level above is the 24-hour high with obvious selling pressure; the probability of a direct breakout is low, requiring a pullback to digest profits. Support below is clear, with a defined pullback entry and stop loss, offering a better risk-reward ratio.

⚠️ Core negatives (key points)
1. This recent rise is mainly sentiment-driven speculation, not real business revenue growth; on-chain actual usage has not increased correspondingly, so the hype can quickly fade and prices may retract rapidly
2. Sector weaknesses: Web3 game user base remains low for the long term; AI Agent is still at the conceptual stage with weak actual revenue realization
3. Historically, the price has experienced significant declinesBrothers, today there’s a huge bombshell on-chain! A hacker received 263 $ETH from Tornado Cash yesterday, sold them for 643,000 USDC, then directly rushed into Hyperliquid, opening a short position of 305.5 BTC at $83,068 with 40x leverage, with a position size of $25.38 million and a liquidation price of only $84,088.
What does this mean? This guy is betting with freshly laundered money that $BTC won’t rise above 84,000. Once BTC hits 84,000, this $25.38 million position instantly goes to zero. The hacker dares to play like this, which shows he’s confident the market won’t rally in the short term.
Even more disgusting, US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen personally confirmed today that the Treasury will seize $1 billion worth of crypto assets related to Iran this week. While the hacker shorts, the government is crashing the market—who dares to take this trade?
#BTC #HackerShort #Cryptocurrency A sharp move in US ten year yields toward the six percent region is drawing attention because it can ripple through risk assets and, by extension, crypto markets. When long term rates climb, the discount rate used to value future cash flows rises, which can pressure growth oriented assets including both equities and digital tokens. Transmission to crypto liquidity often runs through macro sentiment channels. After ETH quickly fell from around 2700, it is currently hovering below 2500. The previous round of decline reached near 2408; although there was a rebound, the key level has not been truly reclaimed. Next, whether 2500 can be firmly held again will determine if this rebound has room to extend; if it breaks through and holds above 2550, there is a chance to further target 2600.
For contracts, first watch 2470–2500. Holding 2470 and reclaiming 2500 allows observation of rebound space near 2550; if 2470 is lost, pay attention to the 2420–2400 area being tested again. Rebounds after sharp drops tend to be volatile; it is not recommended to judge a reversal based on a single bullish candle—it's best to wait for a breakout or pullback confirmation.
The capital side remains under pressure for now: The US spot ETH ETF has seen net outflows for multiple consecutive trading days as of October 8, with a single-day outflow of about $72.5 million; during the same period, ETH also experienced significant long liquidations. Price returning near 2500 does not mean selling pressure has ended; subsequent buying support needs to be observed.
2500 is the current watershed: reclaiming it qualifies for discussing rebound continuation; failing to reclaim it means still guarding against a secondary dip.

Has BTC bottomed out and rebounded? I honestly don’t dare to chase it anymore!
Woke up this morning and opened OKX to check the market, and found that BTC’s rebound was indeed quite strong, rallying from just over 80,000 all the way up to 82,600, pulling back the recent dip. But to be honest, despite the rise, I really don’t dare to chase it now.
Why? There are quite a few people trapped above, and as soon as the rebound hits resistance, someone might take the chance to exit at any time. For BTC to continue upward, it must break through and hold above 84,000; otherwise, this rebound will likely have to retreat.
Looking at ETH, the performance is even weaker. It rebounded from above 2,400 to 2,489, which looks like a decent gain at first glance, but the key levels lost earlier haven’t been recovered yet, so we can’t say the market is fully stable for now.
In the short term, I’ll focus on 2,550. If it can’t break through this level soon, the overall trend remains weak; if it falls below 2,460 again, be cautious of the price retesting 2,400.
SOL is similar, rebounding from around 105 to 109, basically following the broader market. But resistance remains above, so rushing in now—even if the direction is right—could get you shaken out by a pullback.
So my current thinking is simple: only consider chasing BTC after it holds above 84,000; keep a close eye on ETH at 2,550 and 2,460; and hold off on entering SOL until the trend becomes clearer.
I remain bullish on the long term.Opening the order book for SOL, the most eye-catching is the row of sell orders above 110, with over twelve thousand coins listed at 110, and above that at 115, there are more than thirteen thousand. The price hovers at 109.7, just a step away from the wall.
Orders and trades are two different things. Trades are records of completed exchanges, while orders represent intentions waiting to be fulfilled. Sellers place their prices there, waiting for buyers to lift them. For the price to move up a step, the blocking orders must be eaten away first. How many are eaten determines how far the price moves. If it can't be eaten in one bite, it grinds at the base of the wall.
Looking down at the buy orders, from 108 downwards, there are layers of support: just over ten thousand at one level, extending down to 105 and 103. Within about three points above and below the current price, the buy side totals sixty thousand coins, while the sell side has forty-five thousand. The support beneath is thicker than the resistance above. When the price drops, there are buyers to catch it; it can't be pushed down deeply. To rise, it must eat through the wall, so it can't go up quickly. With volumes arranged in this proportion on both sides, the market stays sideways in this narrow range.
Orders are dynamic; they can be withdrawn or added at any time. Reading the order book means observing changes in the walls. When the price approaches the base of the wall, if a large chunk of sell orders is withdrawn and re-listed at a higher price, it means someone is making way. If the wall remains unmoved or even thickens, it means someone is blocking. Whether the price can bounce back depends on this. Don't just count a few points of rise; check if the wall has thinned.
During trading, avoid refreshing the trade price too often. Instead, pull up the order book rows and compare them carefully. When a wall withdraws a segment and the price moves past a level, watch it segment by segment. Every step $SOL takes upward must first pass through these hanging orders.Collect 15U in 4 working days
This LP group is from group 6, now it's the weekend, planning to withdraw and check again next week.
On-chain US stocks basically have no trading volume on weekends, so the fees are basically zero!
The reasons for choosing this trading pair initially:
1. Quite optimistic about $CRCL, the price around 80 is suitable, even if it falls out of the range, holding the tokens in the wallet is not a concern.
2. They say this is a US stock meme, with relatively large volatility. This means high trading volume and the APR is not low either.$BTC brothers, don't rush to call the bull market back with this rebound! From the 4-hour K-line perspective, the downtrend structure since $87,239 remains intact. Although it didn't break below $80,000 on Friday, that doesn't mean the bottom is confirmed. From Sunday to Monday, the $80,000 level is still a key point.
Currently, the rise looks more like a correction after the decline. The EMA20 near $83,083 above is an important resistance. If the rebound lacks volume and fails to break through for a long time, it may continue to probe lower.
KDJ shows signs of turning down, bullish momentum is weakening, and RSI hasn't shown obvious strength. Coupled with panic triggered by wallet theft incidents, market sentiment remains fragile.
My current view is temporarily bearish, but that doesn't mean $80,000 must break. If support fails, bears may continue to exert pressure; if volume breaks through resistance, beware of a market reversal.
Speaking of wealth accumulation, earning your first 1 million in life is an important step from relying on labor income to letting capital generate returns.
With a monthly salary of 10,000 yuan and saving 3,000 yuan per month, without considering returns, it takes nearly 28 years to save 1 million. Having 1 million principal, even with a 10% annualized return, theoretically generates 100,000 yuan income per year, but returns are unstable and not guaranteed.
So, don't think about turning your life around with one or two trades, and don't put your principal at risk for quick money.
Back to $BTC, focus on the resistance near $83,083 and support at $80,000. Control your position, protect your principal, and patiently wait for opportunities. The market never lacks opportunities; staying in the market is the only way to accumulate wealth. $ETH once dipped to $2,400 before rebounding.
If the weekly candle closes below $2,550, Ethereum will retest $2,350 or even lower.Today is Saturday, and the US stock market, ETFs, and CME are all closed. Without institutional funds stepping in, market liquidity is very thin. Over the past two days, ETH dipped to 2405 intraday, experiencing three waves of lows. After a large number of liquidations in 24 hours, it has sharply retreated, and short-term leveraged positions have been cleaned out quite thoroughly. In this environment, even a small order can cause exaggerated spikes, with both bull and bear traps being very common, making it unsuitable for heavy position speculation.
ETH over the weekend remains in a range-bound oscillation pattern. If the upper resistance cannot be broken, the market will keep grinding back and forth. Only by breaking and holding above the resistance with volume can there be a chance to expand upward; if the lower support breaks with volume, it will continue to probe deeper levels.
You might think you can scalp some profits within the range, but looking at the news and macro factors, it’s quite alarming.
Binance long accounts account for 76.7%, and the retail long-to-short ratio is 2.12:1, meaning almost everyone is crowding in one direction.
Meanwhile, on the ETF side, the Ethereum spot ETF has seen net outflows for eight consecutive trading days, totaling $578.9 million in October.
Institutions are withdrawing, and whales are being liquidated.
At the same time, after Waller just delivered a hawkish tone, Goldman Sachs directly raised its expectations, suggesting there might be not just one rate hike in December, but possibly two more.
At this point, I choose not to be aggressive.
Over the weekend, I prioritize watching and waiting, as there are too many fake moves on the chart, which can easily trigger stop losses. The real directional verdict will have to wait until the CPI data is released on October 14. The four kings of L2, it's their turn now. Last round they all dropped 99%, cleaned out pretty thoroughly, unlocking is almost done, popularity and consensus remain, anyway, whenever it rallies, someone will catch it. Last night, Bitcoin's move was decisive: after a sharp drop, it quickly reclaimed part of the lost ground. The battle between bulls and bears is still undecided.
1. Cause of the drop: Research warnings that AI might crack cryptographic signatures within months, combined with continuous outflows from spot ETFs, led high-beta funds to sell off directly. BTC hit a low of 81,600 in the early morning.
2. Drivers of the rebound: Trump's tweet about reaching a 4.8 million ton diesel supply agreement with Putin caused geopolitical premiums to quickly retreat, easing oil price pressure. Bitcoin then followed suit, reclaiming 82,600, with a trading range between 81,610 and 83,530. #美俄达成柴油供应安排,霍尔木兹风险仍未解
3. Technicals: The daily RSI at 49.8 is in a neutral zone. The 20-day moving average at 84,260 is the current major resistance; the 50-day moving average at 80,540 serves as the mid-term lifeline, while the 200-day moving average at 71,800 is still far from the current price. Volume has expanded to 2.15 times the 30-day average, but no clear direction has been chosen. This round leans more toward a shakeout rather than a major sell-off.
Intraday support is at 81,700, with resistance between 83,280 and 83,530; until there is a volume breakout above 84,300, all rebounds should be treated as recoveries. Only if 80,500 is broken will the trend need to be reassessed as bearish. The real directional node is the US September CPI on Tuesday, 10/14. NEAR/USDT Perpetual 30-Minute Review
This ID's view: After a surge to 5.632, there was a rapid sell-off, with a low reaching 4.300. It is currently a recovery rebound after a sharp drop. Do not treat this directly as a reversal to go long. The old central resistance above is heavy, and if the rebound meets resistance, consider shorting.
Entry: When the rebound approaches the previous central resistance zone and the market shows signs of weakening upward momentum, you can set up short positions.
Stop loss: Place above the high point of this rebound.
Chan Theory Structure: On the 30-minute level, the previous long-term movement oscillated within the purple central zone. After surging to 5.632, it directly broke down through the central zone, hitting a low of 4.300. This current move is a pullback repair after the breakout; the price has not yet firmly reclaimed the previous central range. The larger downtrend framework has not been completely broken, and there is still a possibility of further decline after the rebound ends.
Wyckoff Volume-Price Observation: During the price plunge phase, volume significantly increased, with concentrated selling pressure from bears. In contrast, this rebound shows a clear volume shrinkage, with insufficient buying follow-through, representing a typical low-volume recovery after a sharp drop. There is no continuous inflow of new funds, making upward breakout difficult.
Key Observation: Focus closely on the purple central resistance zone above. If the rebound cannot hold above this zone, this rebound will most likely end; only a volume-driven break above the resistance zone should prompt a revision of the existing trading strategy.#跟着OKX打卡2049 Seeing this Check-in 2049 event, I suddenly want to chat with everyone. Unconsciously, I've been in this circle for almost ten years.
Now people often ask, when 2049 really comes, what price will Bitcoin reach, and what will the crypto industry look like? I personally don't dare to casually make such long-term predictions because this industry changes too fast. Who could have imagined ten years ago that we would have ETFs and so many institutions entering the market now? Conversely, no one can guarantee that this path will definitely be smooth ten years from now; who knows how many black swan events might occur along the way.
Personally, I think there's no need to obsess over such distant price points now. The real deal is to manage your current positions well and not get washed out by short-term volatility. Those who survive in this circle and make it to that time will most likely not be too poor.
I also want to ask everyone, what are your expectations for the crypto market in 2049? Do you think the current leading projects will still be around, or will there be a new batch of faces by then? Let's chat casually in the comments. $BTC Back when Dogechain was hyped as the ecosystem for Dogecoin, the DeFi assets on the chain now amount to less than $300?
When I saw this number, I even went back to check, and it was a bit disheartening.
In 2022, when Dogechain first launched, it was very popular. Everyone thought DOGE finally had a chance to play in DeFi, trading, and NFTs, attracting about $4.6 million in deposits within just a few days.
So what happened?
CoinDesk cited DeFiLlama data in a report on October 1st, showing that the locked assets in DeFi applications on Dogechain had dropped to less than $300.
From millions of dollars to just a few hundred, the gap is truly staggering.
Recently, the DogeOS public testnet went live again, and the community has started discussing the Dogecoin ecosystem anew, with even the foundation’s board members openly expressing their expectations.
Of course, I hope this time it works out, but those who experienced the previous round should understand that a lively testnet and a truly surviving ecosystem are two completely different things.
Especially for $DOGE, which already has a large group of long-term holders. Getting everyone to connect wallets, earn points, and complete tasks isn’t that hard. The real challenge is how many people will continue to use these applications after the events end. $MAGIC This wave is not a rebound; it is a huge bullish candlestick after a period of extremely low volume consolidation, directly breaking through the previous high resistance.
First, look at volume and price confirmation. Before the start, the price stayed at a low level with extremely low volume for several days, with almost no trading; then the volume suddenly exploded, far exceeding the usual level, and the long bullish candlestick pierced through the previous high resistance, forcing a short squeeze all the way to the doubling zone. The combination of extremely low volume bottoming and huge volume breakout is the cleanest volume-price coordination for a main upward structure, unlike the previous volume-less empty rise.
Next, look at the chips. This small market cap asset has thin liquidity; the huge volume directly sweeps away the trapped positions above, with almost no dense trading zones ahead to suppress, so the rise is both fast and steep. But the driver is social media sentiment and speculative capital rotation, not fundamentals; the more intense the volume surge, the greater the short-term deviation, and the thicker the profit-taking pressure.
Characterize the current position. It has already surged into a previously untouched high-level vacuum zone, with no historical chips pressing down above, purely relying on sentiment and volume sustainability. The previous high below has turned into support; as long as the pullback does not break it, it remains an acceleration structure.
From the right side, only one thing matters: whether the volume can continue. After a huge volume surge, if volume shrinks and price consolidates without breaking the previous high support, it is a strong consolidation; once volume explodes but price stagnates with frequent long upper shadows, it is distribution. Do not guess the top, watch the volume.
