BTC Dominance (BTC.D) has just formed a Death Cross, a signal that previously led to sharp declines in dominance in 2016 and 2021.
In both instances, capital then tended to rotate strongly into altcoins. Currently, BTC.D is around the 59–60% range, so if it continues to weaken and breaks support, the likelihood of altcoins entering a stronger growth phase will be notable.
However, confirmation from price action is still needed.
