About BTCWhalePressureEases

Glassnode data shows that a more than three-month trend of net BTC transfers from whales to exchanges has ended, suggesting potential selling pressure may be easing. Meanwhile, US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded weekly net inflows for three consecutive weeks through Oct 2, according to SoSoValue, with about $241M flowing in during the latest week. The two trends mark a notable shift in BTC fund flows.

Since October, whales have increased their holdings by 14,000 BTC, and $BTC has again approached around $86,700. The current market shows BTC at $86,222, up 0.03% in 24 hours. After 4 PM, it pulled from $85,566 to $86,387, just over three hundred dollars shy of last night's high of $86,720. There have been buyers consistently stepping in these past few days. According to Ali's statistics, since October 1, the whale group has increased holdings by 14,335 BTC, approximately $1.22 billion.

🚨 BITCOIN ETFs JUST SAW ANOTHER $241M INFLOW U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs bought another $241 MILLION worth of $BTC last week. BlackRock dominated the flows: 🟢 IBIT: +$450M 🟢 ARKB: +$25.5M 🔴 FBTC: -$168M That marks the 3rd consecutive week of net inflows, bringing 2026 Bitcoin ETF inflows to roughly $1.2 BILLION. 📈 Institutional demand is still showing up. Bitcoin accumulation continues. 👀#OKXNOW:24x7MarketEra

Institutional demand remains a major bullish factor: U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recently recorded about $2.4B in weekly inflows, their strongest week in almost a year.

When the biggest holders stop selling as aggressively, I start paying attention. BTC has recently faced some heavy whale profit taking, especially around the push toward $87K. But there are now signs that large holder activity is cooling and some whales are shifting back toward accumulation. Personally, I wouldn’t call this bullish confirmation just yet. What I want to see is whether whale selling continues to ease while spot demand stays healthy. If fewer large holders are sending BTC to exchanges and buyers continue absorbing available supply, that would make the market structure look much stronger to me. But if whales start distributing again every time BTC approaches resistance, then the selling pressure hasn’t really disappeared it has just taken a break. That’s why I’m watching behavior, not just price. Whales don’t need to start buying aggressively. Sometimes simply selling less can change the balance. 👀 #BTCWhalePressureEases $BTC

BTC 2025 vs 2026: two opposite stories. 2025 hit an ATH of $126,080, then a $19B liquidation crash sent it below $90K. 2026 opened ugly down to $60K by June before a 33% rally back to ~$85K. Whales kept adding 41,025 coins in 10 days, but ETF inflows slowed from $60B (2025) to $12B (2026). Your read? $BTC

#BTCWhalePressureEases BTC may be seeing a quiet shift in its supply-demand balance 👀 After 3+ months of whales sending net BTC to exchanges, that trend has stopped. At the same time, spot ETFs have logged three straight weeks of inflows, including ~$241M last week. What caught my attention is both sides moving together: potential sell pressure is easing while institutional demand returns. If that continues, BTC may need less new money to move higher than the market expects.

Weekly Crypto Fund Flow Recap | 2026.09.28-2026.10.04 Quick take: $BTC inflows cooled sharply to +$241M after last week’s +$2.39B, showing the prior surge was not sustained. $ETH flipped from a solid inflow to a -$138M outflow and became the main drag. $SOL nearly stalled at +$2.4M. Stablecoin flows reversed, with a -$0.89B net outflow to exchanges after last week’s inflow, pointing to capital moving off venues. Derivatives also eased, with OI and perp volume both lower. Overall tone turned more cautious after the prior week’s strength. 0% Spot & Futures Maker Fee | 0.01% Futures Taker Fee. ⚡ #KCEX #NFA

Whale exchange flows no longer add to a more-than-three-month selling trend, while US spot Bitcoin ETFs logged a third straight week of net inflows through Oct. 2. That does not prove a reversal, but it improves the flow backdrop: less visible distribution paired with renewed institutional demand is more constructive than either signal alone. #BTCWhalePressureEases

Currently, I personally think that Bitcoin $BTC and Ethereum $ETH should be shorted, with their peaks at 87,000 and 2,800 respectively! Why am I so firm and certain about this right now?! First, look at the most important and significant factor: the US Treasury yields remain very high! Even positive news is instantly suppressed! And oil prices are still high! So we need to understand that the real risk now is not the negative news of single coin but the US Treasury yields breaking upward again.
