Sei’s positioning around trading-focused blockchain infrastructure gives it a more specific competitive identity than many general-purpose Layer-1s. That specialization could become an advantage if on-chain markets continue expanding. At the same time, the sector is crowded, so ecosystem incentives and liquidity need to translate into organic users rather than activity that disappears when rewards decline.
