About BTCETHETFOutflows
US spot BTC ETFs recorded about $173M in net outflows over Sep 30 and Oct 1, ending a nine-session run that brought roughly $3.1B in net inflows. Spot ETH ETFs have seen outflows for three straight sessions, including about $55.4M on Oct 1. The shift from divergent to synchronized outflows points to cooler fund demand. Coinbase said BTC profit-taking recently hit a year-to-date high, while spot demand has slowed.

$BTC + $ETH $HYPE TF flow read
BTC: After roughly $3.1B of cumulative inflows over 9 consecutive days, the reported ~$173M daily outflows on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 show that the strongest institutional bid has temporarily weakened.
ETH: Three consecutive days of outflows, including about $55.4M on Oct. 1, means ETH is no longer showing the relative flow strength it had previously.#USNFPDataCools #BTCETHETFOutflows #G7OilReserveRelease
ETH needs to prove the move.
$ETH is around the $2.7K area, but recent ETF flows have weakened.
Price says strength.
Flows say caution.
When those two align, the setup becomes much clearer.

Honestly, I'm not reading too much into this week's ETF numbers. $BTC funds pulled in just $259-280M, a real step down from last week's $2.4B surge, even bleeding $150M on October 1 alone. $ETH held up slightly better at $110M net despite its own $14M outflow same day. Neither's falling apart, both stayed green. But the pace cooling this fast tells me last week was the outlier, not the new baseline.

Mid-term: cautiously bullish.
$ETH: ETF outflows and recent security/network issues remain risks, while record staking and Citi’s higher target support the bull case.
$BTC / $ETH spot ETFs have turned to net outflows, signaling cooler fund flows.
Key watch: ETF flows + staking trends.

📊 Mid-Term: Cautiously Bullish
$ETH faces ETF outflows and network risks, but record staking and Citi’s higher target support the upside case.
$BTC/$ETH ETF flows have turned negative, signaling softer institutional demand.

#BTCETHETFOutflows The interesting part isn't that ETF flows turned negative. It's that BTC and ETH are now seeing outflows together 👀
BTC funds lost ~$173M after a nine-session $3.1B inflow streak, while ETH logged a third straight day of outflows.
With BTC profit-taking hitting a YTD high and spot demand cooling, this looks like a real test of who buys next.
A pause after strong inflows is normal. Persistent outflows would tell a very different story.
$BTC and $ETH are facing the same problem: ETF money is leaving.
But their charts are telling slightly
different stories.
$BTC already pushed through the old $85K wall and tested $87K.
$ETH is still fighting the $2,750–$2,800 zone.
If ETF outflows continue:
BTC may absorb it better.
ETH may need fresh institutional demand to catch up.
Which would you rather hold right now:
BTC or ETH — and why?
