Is okx really neglecting this token like this?
It keeps dropping, down to nearly 2 million market cap now.
We can't just let the project team act maliciously like this.
The official Twitter hasn't updated either; if they want to run away, they should at least do it openly.
It's really chilling for us shareholders.

I think the project team is still actively working on it and embracing AI. If they can succeed and capture market share, I believe there is still room for imagination. You can also see this from the recent coin price. Moreover, as an L2, its market cap is only a little over 30 million.
First of all, for an L2, actively embracing AI is a good thing, and I think it’s a relatively smart choice.
The reason is simple:
- Pure L2s are currently highly homogeneous; many chains compete on TPS, ecosystem, and incentives, making it hard to differentiate.
- AI Agents require a low-cost, verifiable, autonomous trading and settlement environment. L2s happen to provide these (cheap gas, faster confirmations, and secure connection to Ethereum).
- Whoever first enables "AI Agents to truly run on it and generate economic activity" will more easily secure a position in the next narrative cycle.
Metis choosing this path, rather than continuing to compete in ordinary DeFi or pure gaming ecosystems, will have more obvious differentiation.
Of course, embracing AI does not guarantee success. The key still depends on:
1. Whether the infrastructure is truly more friendly to Agents (such as their promoted decentralized sequencer).
2. Whether they can attract Agents with real users, rather than turning into a bunch of empty projects.
3. Whether the market is willing to pay for this direction.
Overall, the direction is right and has more room for imagination compared to L2s that completely avoid AI.

The recent price has been quite strong, and in fact, there is a positive narrative behind it recently.
Metis Rise was recently launched, which is a program that "rewards AI Agents that truly deliver real value with real money."
Currently, many AI Agents on the market only chat or do demos, but very few can actually help users accomplish tasks, generate revenue, or create real transactions.
What Metis is doing:
- You develop your own AI Agent
- Deploy it on the Metis mainnet
- Attract real users and enable them to generate transactions or settlements on-chain
- Each month, based on the number of real users and on-chain activity rankings, the top three receive rewards (up to about $1500)
The core message is: only reward Agents that "are truly used and create real value on-chain," not those that just "appear to be useful."
This is currently their most practical positive development—using money to push AI Agents from demos to real economic activity. Unlike some other projects that are still at the PPT stage.

The recent sharp price drop may be due to a large unlock on October 23, 20216, and the price has clearly been under pressure in anticipation of the unlock.
According to detailed calculations by coinlaunch and others, the expected unlock amount is about 123.7 million tokens (including the regular quarterly release of about 30.9 million tokens).
Current circulating supply: about 277.81 million / total supply 1 billion ≈ 27.78%.
Estimated after unlock (using the more common 123.7 million as an example):
New circulation about 401.5 million, circulation rate about 40.2%.
It depends on whether this wave of selling pressure can be withstood; very worried.

Syncing the official Twitter news:
On October 14, Cluster Protocol (CP) officially tweeted that CP tokens can now be used for 'flexible finance' on a certain exchange.
What exactly does this mean?
It means you can deposit your CP tokens into the Simple Earn (simple finance) on that exchange and earn interest just like putting money in a bank.
- Flexible type: deposit and withdraw anytime, no lock-up.
- Interest: at that time, roughly around 20% annualized (meaning you get a little interest every day on your deposit). However, this rate can change and is not fixed. 20% annualized is quite high, but it won't stay that high forever.
To summarize, the official reminder is:
"You can now put your CP tokens on a certain exchange to earn some interest instead of just holding them." This indirectly reduces selling pressure on the token.
This is a fairly standard announcement for exchange finance launch, not a major positive news, but for those already holding CP, it provides an additional way to earn interest.

Not optimistic, not optimistic at all!
The institution incubating this project is about to enter liquidation, so what's the point of playing this game.
Solstice (the project issuing the SLX token) was incubated by **Deus X Capital**.
Deus X Capital founded Solstice Labs in 2024 and provided it with funding and resource support; it is one of the projects incubated under its umbrella.
Currently, this institution has announced it will shut down and enter liquidation (planned to complete by January 2027), but the SLX project itself was still incubated by it.
---
What this institution does:
Deus X Capital is a crypto and fintech investment company supported by a family office, classified as an institutional investor. It was established in 2023, manages about $1 billion in assets, and its main businesses include investment, project incubation, and related operations. It is considered a relatively legitimate professional institution in the crypto field.

Why does the US Treasury yield remain high, causing fewer people to borrow money to trade crypto?
Let's take a look:
The Federal Reserve interest rate (federal funds rate) and US Treasury yields.
When these rates are high, money becomes "more expensive," and the cost of all borrowing activities rises.
In crypto trading, there are mainly two common ways to borrow money:
1. Exchange leverage/contracts (most common)
For example, when you open perpetual contracts or leveraged spot positions, the exchange charges you a funding fee (Funding Rate) or borrowing interest.
This fee is not fixed; it changes with the overall market interest rate environment and the balance of long and short positions.
2. Borrow stablecoins (USDT/USDC) to buy crypto
Some people borrow USDT from lending platforms to buy Bitcoin. Borrowing USDT also requires paying interest.
Why does borrowing money to buy crypto become more expensive when US Treasury/Federal Reserve rates rise?
You can understand it this way:
- The "base price" of money is raised
Previously, when banks or government bonds could give you 1%-2% interest, borrowers only needed to pay slightly higher interest.
Now that government bonds can offer around 5%, borrowers naturally have to pay higher interest; otherwise, no one is willing to lend you money.
- Funds become tighter
When the Fed raises or maintains high interest rates, money in the entire financial system becomes "more expensive" and scarcer. The funding costs for exchanges and lending platforms also rise, and they pass this cost on to those borrowing to trade crypto.
- Actual performance
You will find:
- Contract funding rates are more likely to turn positive (longs pay shorts, or fees increase)
- The annualized interest rate for borrowing USDT rises
- The cost of leverage increases, so many people are less willing to open high leverage positions
A simple example
Suppose you borrow $10,000 to buy Bitcoin:
- When interest rates are low: annual interest might only be $200-$300.
- When interest rates are high: annual interest might rise to $500-$800 or even higher.
Borrowing money to trade crypto becomes clearly more expensive. If the coin price doesn't rise enough, the interest will eat into your profits or even cause losses. Many people will reduce leverage or be forced to liquidate.
This really enlightened me; I feel like I can do it again.

I'm just saying, why does a market cap for an AI application get so high?
I estimate that based on the current circulation, a market cap of around 15 million is reasonable.
And it's just AI creation or something, there's really no technology to speak of.
Alright, yesterday I couldn't hold it anymore, it directly dropped to the historical lowest point.
Everyone who played this coin yesterday, both longs and shorts, got wiped out, no one escaped.
This coin is now endlessly falling, the capital has left.
For altcoins, looking at technical levels is useless, altcoins still depend on the narrative.
Technical levels are for BTC and ETH.
