Cosmos has always taken a different route to interoperability: instead of forcing every application onto one chain, its ecosystem allows independent networks to operate while communicating with one another. That architecture remains relevant in an increasingly fragmented blockchain market. The challenge for ATOM is translating interoperability into stronger economic demand. More connected ecosystems are useful, but token value still requires sustainable utility.
