đ¨ CORE isnât making Bitcoin faster. Donât confuse the two.
I keep seeing people interpret COREâs âsub-second transactionsâ as if Bitcoin itself just got a massive speed upgrade. Thatâs not whatâs happening.
COREâs fast response comes from Hermesâ pre-confirmation mechanism â basically, a temporary confirmation signal happening on the CORE side. It gives users a near-instant experience, but it doesnât change Bitcoinâs underlying block-confirmation speed.
