#Institutional funds continue to flow out, can BTC stabilize?
I'm Brother Ci, and today's funding data looks really worrying.
The latest CoinShares report is out: global digital asset investment products saw a net outflow of $434 million this week. Institutional funds are withdrawing, and the pressure is very direct. Farside's data is even more specific: on October 16 alone, the US Bitcoin spot ETF had a net outflow of $82.4 million, and Ethereum was worse, with $69.7 million flowing out. Moreover, ETH has been flowing out for three consecutive days.
The market is also under pressure; BTC once fell below $80,000 but has barely recovered to around $81,000. If you look at community opinions, the ETF outflows are largely concentrated in a single BlackRock product, and institutional withdrawal actions have intensified.
But this situation can't be viewed from only one side. Although ETFs are flowing out, some large whales and big holders are still continuously accumulating, creating a divergence in allocation among different capital groups. Institutions are reducing positions to hedge, while big holders are quietly buying.
Why are institutions running? It's still due to macro pressures. CPI and PPI have consecutively exceeded expectations, forcing the market to reassess the Fed's rate hike path. High interest rates hang like a knife overhead, crushing risk appetite. CoinShares says the long-term fundamentals may not necessarily weaken, but that's distant water and doesn't solve immediate thirst.
Right now, everyone's most focused on the $80,000 level—whether it can form sustained support.

Zec's five-wave decline is about to complete, and after that, it will directly rally! Publicly positioning long orders!
ZEC is currently at 1085, and I plan to place a long order at 866, with a take profit at 966 and a stop loss at 800. I won't touch it at 1085 now. This position is stuck halfway up the mountain, with a lot of trapped positions above. ZEC's market maker is aggressively shaking out positions, so entering now is very likely to get shaken out by stop hunts. 866 is the real deep water zone and also a strong support area with dense early-stage chips, the last bottom line for the bulls. Wait for the price to drop there, after panic selling is exhausted, then it's safe to go long. Calculating the risk-reward ratio: enter at 866, take profit at 966, earning 100 points. If it breaks below 800, admit defeat and stop loss, losing 66 points. Using 66 points of risk to chase 100 points of profit is a good deal, and the support level is clear, so the win rate is solid. Macro-wise, interest rate pressure remains, and the market lacks liquidity. Privacy coins like ZEC, controlled by strong market makers, find it hard to rally big when the overall market is out of money. Be patient and wait for the market to test the bottom a second time, and for ZEC to be hammered into a golden pit—that's the real opportunity. The order placement method is simple: place a long order directly at 866, enter when it hits, otherwise keep waiting. The stop loss is strictly set at 800; if it breaks effectively, it means the trend is completely broken, so unconditionally admit defeat and exit, absolutely no holding on. When the price reaches around 966, take profit in batches to secure gains. ZEC is highly volatile, and stop hunts are normal. Placing orders in the deep water zone has the advantage of not chasing highs but the disadvantage of possibly waiting forever. If the market takes off directly, this order is void, and I will never chase. In trading, it's better to miss out than to make a mistake. $ZEC #SpaceX上市后首份完整季度财报将揭晓 $B
Explanation about my live trading situation:
Only do long-term trades, no short-term trades
Currently holding a $BTC short position that hasn't reached my target
Since September 8th, the current return rate is 80%
Earned over 25,000 U
Profit-loss ratio is 7.18:1
(Inner rant):
Before I started live trading, many people said I was paper trading or faking it. The truth is my account balance was too large to disclose publicly. Later, when the fan base on the platform reached 23,000, I was pressured and had no choice but to start live trading with a 30,000 principal account on September 8th.
After more than a month, the return rate reached 81.1%, the account rolled up to 56,000, and I truly earned 25,880 USD.
But once the live trading was revealed, some people still mocked me. They said, "You had a short position at 83,000, why didn’t you exit when it dropped to 79,700? Now it’s rebounded near your 82,000 cost, so you made a free profit, right?"
I just shook my head. Everyone has a different trading style. Look at my live weekly chart; since going public, I’ve basically made profits every week. My profit-loss ratio is as high as 7.18:1, meaning even if I win only 1 out of 8 trades, I won’t lose, and my win rate isn’t low either.
Many traders only focus on fluctuations within a few hours. If it drops and you don’t exit, then it goes back up, they think you’re incompetent. This is typical retail trader thinking.
Real trading looks at the big cycle and profit-loss ratio. As long as the structure isn’t broken, you have to hold the position. I didn’t want to go public before because I was afraid too many people watching would mess up my mindset and rhythm.
In trading, earn money within your own understanding, don’t let others’ noise disrupt your strategy.

Many people think grid trading is slow
But actually, slow is often fast
Is 1% per day slow?
Maybe it's not just you who thinks it's slow
I think so too
But...
1% daily compound interest is 37 times in a year
Although I can't achieve 1% every day
I try to do things with high probability!
This grid $BTC I left untouched for 230 days
It's almost doubled now!
