Filecoin represents a different vision for decentralized infrastructure: turning storage into an open, programmable marketplace. The interesting fundamental question is whether real data demand can continue expanding beyond crypto-native applications. Enterprise workloads, decentralized applications, and AI-related data requirements could create opportunities, but competing against efficient centralized cloud providers remains a substantial challenge.
