More caution is needed for altcoins. Futures open interest for SOL, XRP, HYPE, etc., is high, and crowded leverage can amplify price swings. If spot demand continues to weaken, long liquidations may trigger a chain of declines; but excessive short concentration could also cause a severe short squeeze.
