Weak US nonfarm payrolls sharply reduced expectations for an October rate hike, easing near-term pressure on risk assets.
That gives $BTC, $ETH, and $ZEC some breathing room.
But the macro story isn't settled yet.
The next major test is mid-October CPI. If inflation comes in hotter than expected, rate-hike expectations could quickly return and put pressure back on crypto.
For now, the setup is simple:
Weak jobs → less hike pressure
Hot CPI → potentially more hike pressure
