About BTCETHETFOutflows
US spot BTC ETFs recorded about $173M in net outflows over Sep 30 and Oct 1, ending a nine-session run that brought roughly $3.1B in net inflows. Spot ETH ETFs have seen outflows for three straight sessions, including about $55.4M on Oct 1. The shift from divergent to synchronized outflows points to cooler fund demand. Coinbase said BTC profit-taking recently hit a year-to-date high, while spot demand has slowed.

LIQTober isn't just a liquidation story. It's a liquidity story.
Two things happened at once:
$BTC ETF flows snapped a nine-day, 148.7 million in net outflows on Oct 1. Fidelity's FBTC led the exit with $125.6 million out. BlackRock's IBIT ended its own nine-day run.
At the same time, market liquidity is thinning. BTC order book depth fell from $35.7 billion to $33.5 billion. Ethereum dropped from $13.9 billion to $13.6 billion. Solana slid from $4.28 billion to $3.35 billion.
Morgan Stanley: $BTC BTC is mirroring gold in the 1970s.
$Gold corrected hard, then broke out to new highs.
Bitcoin looks like it’s on the same path.
If this continues, the real breakout could still be ahead.

🪙 $BTC and $ETH are facing the same problem: ETF money is leaving.
But their charts are telling slightly
different stories.
$BTC already pushed through the old $85K wall and tested $87K.
$ETH is still fighting the $2,750–$2,800 zone.
If ETF outflows continue:
BTC may absorb it better.
ETH may need fresh institutional demand to catch up.
Which would you rather hold right now:
BTC or ETH — and why?

#BTCETHETFOutflows The interesting part isn't that ETF flows turned negative. It's that BTC and ETH are now seeing outflows together 👀
BTC funds lost ~$173M after a nine-session $3.1B inflow streak, while ETH logged a third straight day of outflows.
With BTC profit-taking hitting a YTD high and spot demand cooling, this looks like a real test of who buys next.
A pause after strong inflows is normal. Persistent outflows would tell a very different story.
The recent ETF outflows matter less as a verdict on crypto than as a test of whether institutional demand can absorb a pause in spot buying. BTC's nine-session inflow run set a high bar; synchronized BTC and ETH withdrawals now suggest positioning is becoming more selective.
Profit-taking can cool momentum without breaking the broader structure, but demand needs to reappear before confidence returns.

⚡ BTC × ETH ETF FLOW — CAPITAL COOLING?
BTC’s 9-day, ~$3.1B inflow streak just broke.
Latest session:
₿ BTC ETF: +$102.7M
Ξ ETH ETF: -$55.4M
The heat is cooling, but the leader has something to say.
BTC is still attracting fresh capital while ETH sees withdrawals.
If BTC keeps absorbing money, can the market rotate back into alts? 👀
