Ethereum developers pushed a last-minute software fix ahead of today’s Glamsterdam Sepolia testnet upgrade. The fix addresses a configuration issue so the test can properly evaluate a major increase in Ethereum’s block capacity.
The Sepolia test is scheduled for 13:53:36 UTC today (Oct. 6), testing a 200M gas limit. This is not the Ethereum mainnet launch—the mainnet date is still undecided.
