$OKB is once again testing the patience of holders.
As of the morning of October 19, the latest OKB price is about $110.4, down about 3.8% in the past 24 hours and down about 11% in the past 7 days. From the recent trend, the price has been continuously falling from around $125, with weak rebound strength, and short-term bears still dominate.
Next, focus on three levels: $110 is the current key support; if it can stabilize here, there is a chance to rebound and test $115; $115–$117 is the first resistance above, regaining this level can ease short-term downward pressure. If $110 is effectively broken, beware of further pullbacks toward $108 or even around $105.
My own approach is still not to chase highs or sell lows. The long-term value of OKB depends on the development of the X Layer ecosystem and actual usage demand, but a long-term optimistic view does not mean short-term declines won’t continue. Gradual accumulation is fine, provided position size is controlled and price risk is not ignored just because of confidence in the platform ecosystem.

As expected, this round of the X Layer community certified token competition includes $宝拉, as well as $BEM and $FAB.

$OKB is finally showing some signs of stopping the decline and rebounding, but we can't rush to be bullish just yet.
From the recent days' movement, OKB has fallen back from around $125 to about $110, hitting a low of $110 yesterday before rebounding to around $114. This indicates some support emerging at the low level, but it's not enough to confirm a trend reversal yet.
Next, I will focus on three key levels: $110 is an important short-term support; holding here is the foundation for further rebound. $115–$117 is the first resistance; if it can break through with volume and hold, the next target could be around $120. Conversely, if it falls below $110 again, be cautious of a continued pullback.
My view on OKB remains the same: don’t chase after it when it rises, look for opportunities during pullbacks. Long-term attention to the X Layer ecosystem and OKX’s development is fine, but don’t ignore short-term risks just because you believe in the long-term value. Gradual positioning is okay, but managing position size and risk control is more important.

According to reports on October 16, Chinese regulatory authorities are studying and promoting measures to stabilize the stock market.
Relevant departments are taking multiple measures, including:

2. Guiding state-backed funds to increase market participation
3. Providing window guidance to some large insurance companies, requiring them to report their stock holdings
4. Guiding some investors to avoid stop-loss selling on unrealized losses
🟢 As of today's market open, the A-share market's Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.56%, Shenzhen Index fell 0.9%, and the decline further expanded.
🟢 The Shanghai Composite has 606 stocks rising and 1689 falling. The Shenzhen Component has 582 stocks rising and 2306 falling, clearly showing over 70% of stocks are declining.
Sectors like semiconductors, communications, components, and batteries collectively plunged, indicating that these so-called market rescue measures are not well received.

Daily Gas fees are less than $100, how much longer can these public blockchains last?
In the last bull market, the market desperately invested in public blockchains, competed for developers, and subsidized users. Now that airdrops have ended, incentives have waned, and attention has shifted, how much real demand remains for these public blockchains?
Will the next round of eliminations include a large number of public blockchains that were once highly valued?
I selected eight well-known public blockchains: Plume Mainnet, Metis, Sei, AlienX, Merlin, Morph, opBNB, and Scroll. Their 24-hour Gas fees are all under $100!
Although opBNB's Gas fees are only a few dozen dollars, it recorded over 720,000 active addresses in 24 hours and about 1.6 million transactions.
Meanwhile, Morph has only 2,410 active addresses, but its total TVL reaches as high as $73 million.
Therefore, whether a public blockchain can survive should be judged by Gas fees, TVL amount, active addresses, and transaction volume. If the ecosystem applications keep decreasing and even developers are unwilling to continue investing, the outcome will definitely be death.
It is clear that the competition among public blockchains is no longer about who has more quantity, but who can retain real users, sustained capital, and applications that are truly used!

If I'm not mistaken, Blast will lead the wave of mainnet shutdowns. In the past, everyone cared about appearances, but now there's nothing to hide anymore.
The ecosystem was hyped as very strong and TVL very high when the tokens were issued, but after launch, it all became empty talk. People just put the money in their pockets and left, no one cares about the fate of the chain.
I checked and there are plenty worse off than Blast, with many having zero fees for thirty days, like the well-known Scroll, Eclipse, opBNB, Sei, etc., whose daily fees are only a few dozen dollars.

As of the morning of October 18, OKB is priced around $116, down about 2% in the past 24 hours and about 7.6% over the past 7 days. From the daily chart, the price has already fallen back from above $125, and there is no clear short-term reversal signal yet.
I personally focus on three levels: $115–116 is the current support zone; if it holds, there is a chance for a rebound to test $120 first; $120–123 is the resistance above, and only by firmly reclaiming this range can the trend turn stronger. If $115 is effectively broken, we need to watch out for a further pullback near $110.
However, my attention to OKB is not just on the price. The ecological development of X Layer, on-chain actual demand, and OKX’s layout in traditional finance and on-chain assets are the variables worth tracking long-term. Of course, ecological expectations ultimately need to be validated by real usage data.
My strategy remains: don’t chase on the rise, observe support during pullbacks, and control position sizing when building up in batches.
