Market rules
As of market creation, Sony Group Corporation is estimated to release earnings for its fiscal quarter ending September 30, 2026 (FY2026 Q2) on November 5, 2026. This market refers specifically to Sony's American Depositary Shares (ADS) listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker SONY (1 ADS represents 1 common share). As of November 4, 2026, the EPS GAAP Estimate for this quarter displayed on Seeking Alpha (https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/SONY/earnings) is $0.38 per ADS. This market will resolve to "Yes" if the EPS GAAP Actual for the fiscal quarter ending September 2026 displayed on https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/SONY/earnings is strictly greater than $0.38. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No."
The resolution figure is used exactly as displayed by Seeking Alpha, in USD per SONY ADS. No independent currency conversion, ADS-ratio conversion, or recalculation from Sony's yen-denominated results will be performed, and Sony's own figures in JPY per Tokyo-listed common share (6758) are not a resolution source. For the purposes of this market, IFRS EPS is treated as GAAP EPS.
If no EPS GAAP Actual for the relevant quarter is displayed on Seeking Alpha within 96 hours of market close (4:00:00 PM ET) on the day Sony announces its earnings, the market will resolve to "No." If the company does not release earnings within 45 calendar days of the estimated earnings date, the market will resolve to "No."
Note: Subsequent restatements, corrections, or revisions to the initially displayed figure will not qualify for resolution, except in the case of obvious and immediate mistakes corrected before resolution.
Note: The strike price reflects the Seeking Alpha EPS GAAP Estimate as of market creation; later changes to the estimate do not change the threshold.
Note: All figures will be rounded to the nearest cent using standard rounding.
Note: All figures are expressed in USD per SONY ADS.
If a settlement dispute arises, an ambiguity arises that is not expressly covered by these rules, or the specified authoritative sources conflict, the platform will make the final determination in good faith based on the published rules, the specified data sources, and objectively verifiable facts.
