The structure of the third wave of the five-wave decline has not been broken, continue to position for a BTC rebound short, publicly sharing the trade!
Just took a look at the current market situation; shorting at the 83008 level makes quite a bit of sense logically. Let's first look at the technical side. BTC has dropped sharply from above 87,000, falling to around 80,000 before bouncing back a bit. The 83000 to 83500 range was previously a support zone that was broken and has now turned into resistance. Every time the price rebounds to this range, it gets pushed back by sell orders, indicating that trapped longs and shorts are waiting for an opportunity to act. On the 4-hour chart, moving averages are in a bearish alignment, MACD is running below the zero line, and momentum hasn't turned bullish. On the downside, first watch the 80,000 psychological level; if broken, the next target is 78,000, and further down is 76888, which is a previous concentration of chips and a reasonable target for this wave of decline. Now looking at the news side. US September CPI and PPI both exceeded expectations: CPI year-over-year at 3.7%, PPI year-over-year at 6.3%, inflation is far from easing. Although Powell said there's no rush to act, the market has priced in a 15% chance of a rate hike in October, but with inflation data as it is, the Fed's option to hike again this year hasn't been ruled out. ETFs are also seeing outflows, with a single-day net outflow of $258 million, indicating institutional short-term buying is retreating. Although whales have increased their holdings by 60,000 BTC since late August, their buying range was between 80,000 and 86,000, and the current price is still within that range, so it can't be considered a safety cushion. The Korean stock market plunged yesterday and weakly rebounded today, foreign capital is still selling, global risk appetite hasn't recovered, and the crypto market is unlikely to stand alone. The entry method is simple: enter near 83008, and if the price pushes up to 83500 to 83800, you can add a position

Short ZEC at the 1248 level, the logic is very solid.
First, the reasons for shorting. Technically, 1248 is exactly the platform resistance level in the previous downtrend consolidation. The previous drop from 1600 for ZEC has not reversed at all; the moving average system is still in a bearish alignment, and the rebound here is just hitting a wall. The volume for this rally is clearly insufficient, purely a technical rebound after overselling.
The capital and macro environment are even less supportive. The overall market environment is very poor now, with US tech stocks plummeting, institutional funds are frantically withdrawing from crypto ETFs, and altcoins are the hardest hit, down an average of 14% last week. ZEC, as a small-cap coin controlled by strong holders, has no incremental funds to support it and simply cannot withstand this liquidity drain.
Now, the entry method. Enter short directly near 1248, or wait for a rebound near 1260 to add short positions in batches. Stop loss must be set above 1380; ZEC is a volatile coin with sharp spikes, so you must allow room for fluctuations. Once volume increases and it stabilizes above 1380, it means the bearish structure is broken, and you should admit defeat and exit.
Take profit first targets 1120, where you reduce half your position to lock in principal and some profit. The remaining position targets 1008 for full exit. Use a trailing stop in between: for every 50-point drop in price, move the stop loss down by 30 points; when the stop loss reaches 1150, move it down to 1300.
Keep position size strictly under 10%, and leverage no more than 3x. Altcoins have poor liquidity, so never go heavy.

#Institutional funds weaken, who will see the first inflow, BTC or ETH?
Looking at the data in today's screenshot, the funding situation is really a bit tight.
From October 12 to 16 this week, the US Bitcoin spot ETF saw a net outflow of 228.4 million, while Ethereum ran even harder, with an outflow of 320.1 million. The outflow scale of Ethereum is even larger than Bitcoin's, indicating that institutions now have even less patience for high Beta assets. Corporate treasuries are also not performing well, with a clear slowdown in accumulation.
Galaxy Research provided a set of very sobering data: the combined buying from ETFs and corporate treasuries simply cannot absorb the supply dumped by long-term holders. The cumulative supply-demand deficit within the year is about negative 127,300 BTC. And that's not all; the funding pressure has already spread to altcoins. The 141 altcoins tracked by 10x Research fell an average of 14% last week, while BTC only dropped 3% in the same period. Trading volume is shrinking, and stablecoin supply is also contracting—this is a typical sign of on-exchange capital outflow.
But if you look at the market below the screenshot, BTC rose 1.77%, and ETH rose 1.92%. Funds are withdrawing, yet the market is rebounding—how to explain this?
Simply put, this is a low-volume technical rebound after a prior heavy drop, combined with some whales buying the dip around 80,000. It does not mean institutional funds have turned around. Without real incremental funds entering, this kind of rebound can easily become a bull trap.
Back to the question in the screenshot: who will see the first inflow, BTC or ETH?

The US stock market is once again in turmoil, with the Nasdaq plunging 2.15%. But interestingly, BTC did not follow the decline; instead, it rose back above 82,000. The market has already given the answer on who the funds are choosing. Let's first look at the US stock side. Among the seven tech giants, six fell and one rose, with Meta dropping 3.72%. The worst hit was the AI infrastructure sector: CoreWeave plummeted nearly 12%, and AMD fell nearly 10%. The AI hardware and cloud infrastructure sectors are almost out of breath. Why is this happening? Just look at the news. Federal Reserve Chair Powell spoke, saying the US economy is resilient and AI investment is supporting demand. But he shifted tone, saying that long-term productivity gains do not mean short-term rate cuts, and companies must withstand the test of financing costs. In plain terms, don't expect me to ease monetary policy soon; you have to endure the high interest rates yourselves. The real thunder is on the AI financing side. Some CoreWeave bonds yield over 15%. What does this mean? It means the market is punishing these cash-burning AI companies with extremely high interest rates. Institutions worry about how your project returns, equipment depreciation, and debt maturities will match up. When financing pressure rises, tech stocks naturally collapse. Additionally, crude oil remains high, with Brent at $108 this morning. Middle East supply risks have not been resolved, so inflation cannot be brought down, which is another looming threat. Now back to our BTC. Despite the Nasdaq's plunge, BTC not only held steady but rose slightly. Although the total crypto market cap dropped 2.83%, this was mainly due to altcoins bleeding out, with money flowing into B
