About USIranTalksRestart
Indirect US-Iran talks have resumed, but no breakthrough has emerged. Qatar is mediating discussions on Hormuz transit, lifting the maritime blockade and nuclear issues, while the sequencing of actions remains a key divide. With limited room for concessions, markets are reassessing regional and energy risks as Brent stays near $100 a barrel. Can oil exports recover sustainably, or could renewed shipping disruptions reprice inflation and rate expectations?

#USIranTalksRestart Talks are back, but oil near $100 says markets aren't celebrating yet 👀
Qatar is trying to bridge Hormuz access, the blockade and nuclear issues, but sequencing remains the sticking point.
What caught my attention is the asymmetric setup. A deal could release some risk premium, but another shipping disruption could quickly push crude higher.
This isn't just geopolitics. At $100 oil, every setback can feed inflation, yields and Fed expectations, with BTC caught in storm.
The diplomatic door isn’t closed yet
The U.S. and Iran are back in indirect discussions through Qatari mediators, with a new proposal focused on rebuilding trust, reopening the Strait of Hormuz and eventually returning to broader negotiations.
Personally, I think the most interesting part is that both sides are still exchanging proposals despite months of tension. That doesn’t mean a deal is close, but it tells me neither side has completely given up on diplomacy.
The biggest challenge now seems to be who moves first. Sanctions, the naval blockade, Hormuz and Iran’s nuclear programme are all connected, and agreeing on the order of those steps could be just as difficult as agreeing on the issues themselves.
For markets, I’m watching oil first. Real progress could remove some geopolitical risk premium, while another breakdown could quickly bring supply concerns back.
Talking again is progress.
Compromise is the real test.

#USIranTalksRestart Seeing the US and Iran back at the table feels like a small positive step, even if there’s still a long way to go. 👀 The latest indirect talks have resumed without a breakthrough, with major disagreements still unresolved.
For markets, Hormuz is still the part I’m watching most. Oil has been moving quickly with every sign of progress or setback in the talks, which shows how sensitive sentiment is right now. 🛢️📈
Hopefully diplomacy keeps moving forward. A little stability would be very welcome after all this uncertainty 🤞✨
The key variable is not whether talks resume, but whether the sequence of concessions becomes credible enough for shipping risk to fade. With Brent near $100, even a partial easing in Hormuz uncertainty could matter for inflation expectations. Without it, energy risk may remain embedded in the macro backdrop.

🌍 Was bedeutet steigendes Öl für Krypto? 📊 Meine aktuelle Strategie:
