Gaming adoption is a tougher test for blockchain projects than trading activity because players ultimately care about the game, not the underlying token. Gala’s broader thesis is therefore interesting from an infrastructure perspective: can blockchain ownership, digital assets, and player economies add genuine utility without making the experience unnecessarily complicated? Sustainable gaming demand would be a stronger signal than short-term token activity.
