Gold's test is whether committed buyers can outlast the cost of holding it. High real yields and a strong dollar remain headwinds, even as ETF holdings reach a record and central banks add exposure.
My read: structural demand may cushion gold, but cushioning a decline is different from powering another rally. The bullish case needs sustained buying, not just ambitious targets.
